2013-06-01 - 02 Scout Camp Great Aussie Resort
We had a fantastic weekend at the Great Aussie Resort at Bowna - Saturday was very wet, but we had heaps of activities indoors to stay busy, with a quick arhcery session during a break in the clouds.
Saturday night we had the Patrol Masterchef competition, where the culinary genius of our Scouts was taxed to the fullest, with magnificent gastronomic creations emerging from the various kitchens. Tasty - and of course we leaders had to sample eveything! YUM!
Sunday morning dawned fine and sunny so we took all of the Scouts up a tall tower and threw them off... On a Flying Fox of course - great fun! Following that we had an orienteering challenge around teh prk before heading home. A great weekend!
